Keynote Speakers Announced

Keynote speakers for OCEANS ’11 have been confirmed and include:

• Dr. Marcia McNutt, Director U.S. Geological Survey
• Mr. Mike Utsler, Chief Operating Officer Gulf Coast Restoration Organization (GCRO) BP
• Dr. Eddie Bernard, Director NOAA Pacific Marine Environmental Laboratory [Retired]

In addition to these keynote speakers, two leading speakers from the International Symposium on Underwater Technology 2011 (UT’11) (which was unfortunately cancelled due to the March 11, 2011 Tsunami) will be speaking in Kona. They are Professor Masanao Shinohara of the University of Tokyo and Dr. Yoshiyuki Kaneda of JAMSTEC.
